On an MRI scan brain lesions appear as light spots - luminous patches, scattered in the dark image of brain tissue. While their cause is often unknown, they could be a sign of many serious conditions. Innumerable as the stars of night makes sense of brain lesions, by re-contextualising them with other enchanting and mysterious spectacles of light.
